It supports LPRng as protocol, but it requires a Windows machine to print, because it only understands the Windows GDI output. In other words, on a Linux box it is only usable through a Samba print server. I ended up with the C242SF, which unlike the C240SF supports Postscript and PCL, making it a printer usable from everywhere (and still having LPRng support.) -Joe |
