So, I tried to build libusb 0.1.11 on Mac OS X 10.4.4, but I got tripped up on the warning about building on 10.3 and later (darwin.c, line 70). I found this post in the archives: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=14551019 so I removed the warning statement, but I'd wary of that solution. Why was the warning placed there in the first place? Anyway, once I got past that error, I ran into this: > mkdir html > openjade -t sgml -d ./website.dsl\#html ./manual.sgml > openjade:./manual.sgml:1:55:W: cannot generate system identifier > for public text "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook V4.2//EN" > openjade:./manual.sgml:10:0:E: reference to entity "BOOK" for which > no system identifier could be generated > openjade:./manual.sgml:1:0: entity was defined here > openjade:./manual.sgml:10:0:E: DTD did not contain element > declaration for document type name > openjade:./manual.sgml:12:9:E: there is no attribute "ID" > openjade:./manual.sgml:12:17:E: element "BOOK" undefined > openjade:./manual.sgml:13:8:E: element "TITLE" undefined > openjade:./manual.sgml:14:11:E: element "BOOKINFO" undefined > . > . > . > openjade:./functions.sgml:112:48:E: element "PARAMETER" undefined > openjade:I: maximum number of errors (200) reached; change with -E > option > openjade:/sw/share/sgml/dsssl/docbook-dsssl-nwalsh/html/dblink.dsl: > 203:1:E: XRef LinkEnd to missing ID 'function.usbclaiminterface' > openjade:/sw/share/sgml/dsssl/docbook-dsssl-nwalsh/html/dblink.dsl: > 203:1:E: XRef LinkEnd to missing ID 'function.usbopen' > openjade:/sw/share/sgml/dsssl/docbook-dsssl-nwalsh/html/dblink.dsl: > 203:1:E: XRef LinkEnd to missing ID 'function.usbfindbusses' > make[2]: *** [html/index.html] Error 1 > make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 > make: *** [all] Error 2 I realize my fink install is possibly getting in the way here, but can i work around this, or ignore it?
