  This is a great project that make it easy to develop programs connected with usb devices. The only bad thing in my opinion is that there is no versions for Windows (libusb-win32 is based on an old version of libusb)

  I'm using it on Ubuntu 9.04 with a GNU toolchain for ARM, debugging with JTAG on USB via openOCD. It works well.
