Hey folks, I am about to develop drivers for some USB robot controllers. I also use Debian to do this, and verison 0.1.7 is provided within Debian. However, I noticed that the 1.0 branch is not API compatible, so I am tending to develop for 1.0 straight. Now my question is: - is 1.0 usable, or is it totally unstable code? - are the API changes from 0.1 to 1.0 grave, or can a driver using libusb 0.1 be migrated to 1.0 relatively easy? I appreciate any comments.
