I have a graph which is mostly a DAG, except for a few edges. It is a graph of dependencies between packages for an internal software project. The graph has a few hundred nodes. (It may usually be a DAG, but I can't depend on it. DAGLayout goes into an infinite loop for all large graphs I have tried.) It would be useful and easy to read if it were drawn in a tree-like form. I've tried all of the layouts provided by JUNG, like KKLayout and StaticLayout and none of them provide a useful visualization of the graph. Can anyone suggest tweaking an existing layout, or tweaking the graph somehow, to produce a nice tree-like layout instead of the mess of crossing lines produced by all existing layouts in JUNG? Thanks! |
