Category: General Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Patrick Luebbecke (drkurt123) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: GradientPaint direction not working in plots Initial Comment: I've created a XYPlot and used the plot.setBackgroundPaint(new GradientPaint(0f, 0f, new Color(255,205,154), 175f, 175f, new Color(208, 252, 201), false)); method dto draw a gradient background fading from red to green, starting in the upper left corner fading to the lower right corner. Nevertheless the fading starts from the upper corner and continues to the lower corner, but not from left to right. Here's a link of what it should have looked like: http://i.imagehost.org/0238/chart.jpg I've attached a jpg of what it actually looks like. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Patrick Luebbecke (drkurt123) Date: 2009-11-11 12:21 Message: OK, in the meantime i found out, that the direction of the gradientPaint works fine when invoked on the chart.setBackgrundPaint() method, but not on the plot.setBackgroundPaint() method. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Patrick Luebbecke (drkurt123) Date: 2009-11-10 13:51 Message: sorry forgot to say: i'm working with 1.0.13 of jfreechart. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=115494&aid=2895111&group_id=15494 |
