#46 bottom split pain grabs focus after save

If I have split the text area horizontaly, and save (ctrl+s or save icon), focus ALWAYS moves to the bottom pane once the save has completed. This is regardless of whether the top and bottom pane are the same buffer. If I save the lower buffer, then focus remains there.

If you don't have split panes, you cannot see the caret anymore after saving(ctrl+s). I'm using jdk1.3 on NT workstation SP 6.
