Hi Nate, the ChannelTest test looks fine. As I don't have 2 Linux boxes at home I cannot reproduce the test. It ran fine on a Linux 2.4/JDK 1.4.1 and WinXP/JDK1.4.1 combination. Also your props are mainstream, so I guess it is a networking (firewall) problem ? I just upgraded my Linux box from Mandrake to SuSE 8.1, and their firewall setup is giving me headaches. To find out what is going on, enable full tracing in both machines and send me the logs: ----------------------------- javagroups.properties ----------------- trace=true timestamp_format=HH:mm:ss[SSS] default_output=DEBUG /tmp/trace.all -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Put this file in you homedir or somewhere on the classpath. > I'm using JavaGroups on a large project here, and we're having problems > using JavaGroups on Linux.
