  A great piece of software. You can create distributed communication virtually within a few minutes and with a minimal amount of coding. I have been using JGroups for a few years now and I've seen great improvements in stability and performance.

  Unfortunately very unreliable and unstable, therefore unusable in production - at least if you care about your data. Breaking down a whole JGroups network is a matter of minutes. The code is barely documented and flawed in various aspects. Seems JGroups develoment has focused on features too much, instead of caring about robustness and reliability.
