JabRef 1.6 released

JabRef is a graphical application for managing bibliographical databases. The main focus is on BibTeX databases, but other database formats will be supported as well. JabRef runs on all platforms and requires java 1.4. Being the first version preceded by a public beta, we hope that JabRef 1.6 will be the most stable release so far. There are many new features since version 1.55, including greatly improved handling of bibtex strings, export to MODS format and facilities for detecting and handling external changes to open files. Many bugs have been fixed, and the user interface has been improved in many small ways.
