#881 multiple versions on the same PC

I regularly use Jabref for handling bibliography, also linked to Latex and Libreoffice. I would like to use it also for my music collection (CDs and Flac files). While I can easily customize entry types adding performer, composer etc. there is no way to link the configuration of the Entry Table Colums to a specific data base or to a specific Entry Type. I tried to export and import specifically created preferences files without any result. Would be there a possible solution?
