Dear JabRef developers,
I like JabRef to have the mind map creating feature. Recently, I found out other competitive software including Qiqqa (http://www.qiqqa.com/About/Features), Zotero and Docear which can integrate mind mapping into reference management. I wish JabRef can also do this job: let users draw mind maps using the notes or bibtex info created in JabRef! It is better to also have the feature that jabref can automatically generate the links between references through reading the references info in a pdf, so that users can visilize the relationship between literatures in the library and take notes on those links in a mind map easily. I would recommend using Freeplane as the inteface of mind mapping. Zotero and Docear have done similar thing before, if I am right.
With this feature enabled, Jabref can work more wisely. The users can save a lot of time on analyzing papers, and hence can focus more on research!
Thanks!
Xiaodong
Have a look at http://www.docear.org/. Is it that what you're searching for?
