#747 Shortcut for String Combinations

While working with JabRef I often have to repeat certain string combinations. I know, there is the possibility to edit strings in the sub-menu. But I wonder if it is possible to assign keyboard shortcuts to strings to fasten the process. Furthermore I would be nice if one can build these strings around a selected text (insert string before selection; insert string after selection).

With this extension it would be easy to include basic formatting tools as well (this has been suggested in another thread).

For example you could build an italic format within the abstract field easily by including some tex code around a selected text:
pre- string post-string shortcut
\textit{ } ctrl+i

I think it would be a great tool to enhance the workflow with JabRef
