Hi all,

it would be very helpful to have aninterface which filters the database entries by author names as it is in Mendeley. This means that you can simply click on an author and JabRef highlights all entries of this author regardless if he/she is the first author.

Thank you for this suggestion. What interface are you envisioning for this, i.e. where should the user click on the author names? One option is a sidepane component that displays a list of author names.

One option is to use groups to do this. Just create a "Dynamically group entries by searching a field for a keyword". It will create a group with all entries matching your keyword in the specified field.
