Hello,
I've made some custom entry types and would like to export and import these, but I can't find.such an option. Such an option would improve the productivity of JabRef. Otherwise it's a really bad work to do the customization again and again (e.g. for another installation of JabRef). I think this would be a nice feature for JabRef.

This is particularly important now that we're moving towards biblatex/biber. For instance, Jabref 2.7 introduced a biblatex mode that enables the standard biblatex entry types. However the biblatex-chicago package expands on this considerably in order to meet the specifications of the Chicago Manual of Style. No doubt other biblatex-* packages do the same.

It would be much more useful to enable/disable entry type templates and to import (and as anonymous says, potentially export) the entry types as a template. Also, a Reset to Default button would be required.

Whether this would be preferable in a plugin is not for me to say, but I think it's an important feature and will help standardise biblatex-* usage.
