When I assign a pdf file to a reference from my local filesystem (using the general dircetory setup for "relative pathnames"), I get different formats on different operating systems.

Linux gives me the slash notation (/), but windows gives the backslash notation (\).
Unfortunately I therefore cannot open the linux-created links on windows systems.

Linux seems to be able to handle the windows-version with backslashes.

Would it be possible to unify those different behaviour to create only one notation (backslash)?
I don't know, how things work on Mac, but I suppose they support backslash as well.

Thanks,
pheidrias
