#449 Search in patents database

There is more and more need to verify innovations in the field one does the research. JabRef has very handy feature to search the IEEE Xplore for publications but there are many other databases where technical work is published, e.g. Elsevier, Thomson, etc.

Would be of great value if the search feature of JabRef is extended to these databases and to patent databases as well (EPSO, USPO, etc.)

As academical research is getting close to industrial research, the benefit of having JabRef searching for patents is of great value for both sides.
