I'm not sure if this is at all possible, but it would be great if I could drag and drop the PDF symbol into, for example, an email so that the PDF is attached. Basically, as if I dragged and dropped the file from the file manager. I often use Jabref to locate and send on articles.

I also would find that a valuable feature, I have the same problem with sending pdfs via email or for dragging them on a USB stick.

This is implemented as "Send as Email". Hope, that fulfills your need.
