No

I thought it would be helpful to be able to recall
previous searches in the search panel, or 'Fetch
Medline' etc with the up and down arrow keys. I don't
know many programs that include this feature but one
that does is NEdit http://www.nedit.org/ and it's a
great time-saver!

I tried CTRL-Z in the search panel to revert back to a
previous version of the search, but the undo was
applied to the last edit of the database. The simple
fix is to disable 'undo' while the side panels have focus.

Also, regarding the undo command, if I edit a field,
and that field still has focus, the undo command undoes
the current field and the previously changed field.
Presumably this is because the current field has not
been added to the bibtex source yet. I think undo
should apply to the field being edited if there is one,
before being applied to the last change to the source.

(Jabref version 2.1)

Thanks!
