Is it possible to get similar search possibilities
within jabref like for citeseer or medline with other
bibliographic databases, like jstor or web of science
that are quite important for social scientists.

Might I add MathSciNet http://www.ams.org/mathscinet to this
list, also? MathSciNet provides comprehensive (and correctly
formatted!) BibTeX versions of all its entries.

I also wish that JabRef can include the search option on Web of Science, which is also very important in science and social science.

    In kbib
    http://user.digisurf.com.au/~thachly/kbib/
an ISI web search option has been already realized. Maybe this can also be done for Jabref because ISI is one of the most comprehensive information sources and maybe the only one with complete coverage for the field of chemistry.
