Yes, this would be really great!
Some of my colleagues use "Bibliographix"
(http://www.bibliographix.de), which can import directly
from many online catalogues like GBV (catalogue of all
majhor libraries in northern Germany, http://www.gbv.de\) or
ECONIS (German National Library of Economics, http://zbwopc4.zbw.ifw-kiel.de:8080/\).
I would really like to see this in JabRef. Is is laborious
to implement it?
Thanks for this great application,
Arne

Why hasn't there been any progress with this suggestion.
I think the ability to connect to libraries, retrive info on publication etc and have that saved should be a mandatory feature.
Cheers
Mark
