Hello,

I think it would be great to have the
option of an automatic download
(and renaming) of the corresponding PDF
for PubMed entries.

JabRef could crawl through the PubMed web links
to the PDF (sometimes ending in .TAF as well)
as it is done automatically by iPapers2
when downloading some PubMed entry:
http://ipapers.sourceforge.net/

Maybe the iPapers2 source code can help.
Anyway, I think this option is simple to implement
and would strongly accelerate the download
of PubMed references together with the PDF.
Of course, it would not work in all cases,
but in many cases I guess.
It would also make JabRef a unique tool
in contrast to commercial products.

Thank you much!

Hm I never thought this could be possible. But someone
already did this! Definitely a great feature -- save me the
time to go to pubmed website click click click again.

The same pdf download can also be implemented with IEEE Xplorer.

The file name should not be limited to pmid.pdf, but
refKey.pdf, because people would need to import references
    from IEEE, ACM, etc.

In case the pdf file is not available, it's better not to
display a blank item, but maybe an icon, say, a "stop sign"
in front of a pdf icon, meaning that pdf files are not
    available.
