No

It's really annoying that when I click the red X on JabRef that it doesn't hide the window and keep running like almost everything else. I'm sick of having to leave it open in the background (an annoying extra window) or restart the program. Could you consider offering an option in preferences? The best you have is "Minimize to System Tray", but even that you need to click every time because there's no option to leave it on, and then double-click (very un-Mac-like) to reopen. Very frustrating. Otherwise, great software. Thanks!

I still agree with my earlier post, but a temporary solution is to press "Cmd+H" which hides the window.

The solution as provided in the commit does not seem to be a fix to me.

Mac applications usually have one of two behaviours when clicking on the "close" button:
    1. The application quits, as was before the fix.
    2. (preferred) The application hides (similar to the Cmd+H suggested above), and the window can reappear if the application is activated.

With the current fix, the application is minimized (the window is reduced to the Dock), which means that both the "close" and "minimize" buttons have the same effect, which is not standard.
