Dear all,
I enjoy using the command line, and I'd like to encourage more people to use it. To improve my own experience, and with the aim of helping others, I've created a bunch of simple command-line scripts to do things like fade out itunes, fade to the next track, play, pause, google search, wikipedia search, set the volume, set the brightness, eject a disk (or all mounted volumes), restart, shutdown, etc, etc... I would like to make a cute and simple interface for entering these short commands that I can bring up with a keystroke. I think that if the iTerm project created such an interface, many more people would use it than are currently using the command line, and people would come to know more about their computers. I've attached a mockup of the interface. Any interest?
Many thanks,
