Thanks again, I install setserial and free the port: setserial /dev/ttyS2 uart none modprobe lirc_sir /etc/init.d/lirc restart But there is nothing on irrecord: irrecord -H default -d /dev/lirc0 /tmp/lircd.conf ... irrecord: no data for 10 secs, aborting irrecord: gap not found, can't continue ( presed some buttons) I have the device: # ls -l /dev/ | grep lirc crw-rw---- 1 root video 61, 0 2009-09-20 16:19 lirc0 srw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0 2009-09-20 16:22 lircd I need to configure something on /etc/lirc/ to get working irrecord?
