Hello everyone, I could really use a few of volunteers to help out with Iperf. Some of these items are very straight forward, others are a bit more involved. Here are a few tasks that I have in mind: 1. Cleaning up and migrating the content from the DAST Iperf pages http://dast.nlanr.net/projects/Iperf/ to the Iperf homepage on SourceForge: http://iperf.sourceforge.net/ I am thinking this should probably be a wiki so the community can keep it up to date. (I have talked with the stake holders of the DAST pages and they are happy to see the content migrated to SourceForge.) 1a. Develop an Iperf FAQ. 2. Converting the current HTML documentation into a man page. The man page will be the canonical source and we can generate an HTML version from there. 3. Binary packages for various platforms, including Linux (.rpms, .debs, etc), Mac (.dmg?) and Windows 4. A Windows developer who can work with me to be sure we aren't breaking things on Windows. 5. Anything else you would like to contribute. I will consider any reasonable patches, etc. If at all possible submit any and all patches via the SourceForge patches tracker at: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=128336&atid=711373 Finally, be on the look out for an updated version of Jperf in the next couple of days. Thanks! Jon |
