I'm trying to send a file with the -I or -F options. Over a 10/100 network, this works just fine. However, I'm currently trying to send a file (say, the linux kernel) over a 512k FR link, and it runs for around 12-13 seconds and dies (tested in both directions). Running iperf normally (without -I/-F) works fine -- with the -t option, it will run fine for as long as I tell it. Anyne have any ideas? scp/ftp of this file works just fine. I should note that udp transfers over this link also result in a warning message that reads: "did not receive ack of last datagram after 10 tries." (this seems to occur in one direction only) I'm using version 1.7.0, and have tried adjusting buffer sizes, but this doesn't seem to help much at all. thanks, -g |
