I also responded to your post on ipcops.com. The patch you found is not a 
patch to update IPCop, it is to patch the source code for Openswan before it 
is compiled for what will be the next version of IPCop. 

When 2.1.6 comes out it will have the changes. The word patch means two 
different things when talking about compiling code versus an update patch to 
a running system. The best thing is to wait until 2.1.6 is released.
