The order of the slots depends of the motherboard and the bios. I had one board after installing a new bios the slots where renumbered to just the opposite of what you stated. But as a note, as long as the bios does not change the order remands same between boots, except for 3c509 ISA cards and during a soft boot - then read IPCop website for more info. jackb |
