Category: None Group: 3.0.x >Status: Pending Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: windows live mail Initial Comment: I use privoxy for some time now, never had a problem till i used windows live mail. for it to work i had to set the default setting for "prevent-compression" to -prevent-compression. in the users manual there is a note for bad made pages and how to prevent it, but when i set my default back to +prevent-compression and a exception for *rad.msn.com/*; *h.msn.com/*; and one for hotmail, it won't work. can anyboddy help me??? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Date: 2006-08-24 09:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=875547 What exactly are the URLs you want to create exceptions for? Are you sure there are no other MSN URLs left that may need an exception? It has nothing to do with your problems, but instead of disabling prevent-compression you should really disable some (or all if you don't want to spend time finding the right ones) filters for the URLs in question. +prevent-compression itself shouldn't break a page, it just lets Privoxy filter some pages that aren't filtered without it. -prevent-compression may hide the real problem today, but if MSN decides someday to send there pages uncompressed, the problem will show up again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=1543036&group_id=11118 |
