Developer TODOs item #543413, was opened at 2002-04-13 17:48 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=400339&aid=543413&group_id=11118 Category: User Documentation Group: 2.9.x >Status: Closed Priority: 9 Submitted By: Andreas Oesterhelt (oes) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: SF logo missing on home page Initial Comment: We need to display the SG logo on http://www.privoxy.org. Since we use their VHOST service, this is actually an SF AUP requirement! See http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=790&group_id=1 I have no idea how to embed images in docbook :-( ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Andreas Oesterhelt (oes) Date: 2002-04-14 18:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=78811 Just saw the logo on our home page, neatly aligned in the middle, so I assume this can be closed. Hal: Sorry for proposing the dummy attribute when you were almost done with perl. I just didn't think of it any earlier :-( Best regards, --Andreas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Rodrigo Barbosa (morcego) Date: 2002-04-14 02:32 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=10857 I don't know if this an answer or not, but I do remember seeing align=middle in a few places. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Hal Burgiss (hal9) Date: 2002-04-14 01:50 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=322640 Wow, when you know the answer its easy :) That works. But I already did the perl thing now. One remaining problem...there is an align attribute. I think centered would be best. But that does not work. Align right works, align left works, but align center displays aligned left with 3 different browsers. Argggg..... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andreas Oesterhelt (oes) Date: 2002-04-14 00:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=78811 Hi Hal, ..please keep your hair; there's a painless solution: just append "&dummy=" to the image url -- SF's php script doesn't mind a dummy parameter set to ".gif". Best regards, --Andreas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Hal Burgiss (hal9) Date: 2002-04-13 23:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=322640 <GRAPHIC FILEREF="image.jpg"></GRAPHIC> No dice. Docbook is sooooooo much fun sometimes. The problem is the image URL: http://sourceforge.net/sflogo.php?group_id=11118&type=1 Docbook wants a specific image format, and appends a steenkin '.gif' on that if it does not recognize it. I've tried every possible graphic related tag at this point, and they all act that way. I am at the point of pulling out sed/perl <eg>. It also needs to be embedded in a <ulink> if we follow their guidelines. Right now SF is so slow, testing this is a PITA. Yep, perl. friggit, while I still have some hair left... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Gábor Lipták (gliptak) Date: 2002-04-13 21:48 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=79346 try <GRAPHIC FILEREF="image.jpg"></GRAPHIC> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Hal Burgiss (hal9) Date: 2002-04-13 18:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=322640 I'll get to it later today. BTW, before when the image was there, I got the 'pattern', and could never figure out why? Is this a violation <g>? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=400339&aid=543413&group_id=11118 |
