Once you do so, entries will be written to the log file even if you do not succeed in browsing to any web sites. Without this log file it will be practically impossible to assist you; we would only be guessing as to the cause of your issue. Alongside the log file then, what behaviour do you see when Privoxy is enabled? Do you see an error message? A Privoxy error message? Or does the browser attempt to load a page indefinitely?
