Category: configuration Group: 3.0.19 >Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Justin (jstnchristian) Assigned to: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Summary: Netflix App on Playstation and Android Unable To Connect Initial Comment: - Version: 3.0.19 running with CopFilter - OS: Linux (IPCop) - No Browser, just the app - Not sure the URL that is used; duplicate the problem by using either the PS3 or Android app, and trying to play a show. - Using IPCop on a home router - No other proxies I am currently using the default configuration for Privoxy, after trying to add the following to the user.action file with no success: {-block } .netflix.com as well as {-filter } .netflix.com. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Justin (jstnchristian) Date: 2012-09-11 08:03 Message: It seems that by doing with { fragile } .nflximg.com the situation has remedied itself. What was interesting is that, even when Netflix wasn't getting through, debug 8 showed that the requests were getting through. When I turned off privoxy, everything went through. I am wondering if perhaps C-ICAP (sorry, should have written that I was using that in the first case), was having trouble with something that privoxy was doing with the stream? Not sure if that even makes sense. Leaving the bug open for now, in case fabiankeil wants to take a look at a certain log level, but will close if that is not the case. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Date: 2012-09-11 04:35 Message: From the information provided it's not even clear that Privoxy is being used by "either the PS3 or Android app". Please provide a log excerpt after enabling the debug directives recommended at: http://www.privoxy.org/user-manual/contact.html#CONTACT-BUGS ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=3566358&group_id=11118 |
