I have my Firefox browser's home page as a local html file. A short version looks like this:

Toggle*
Gmane *
Yahoo!Mail*
GMail*

I want help for the first link which is a "bookmarklet" I got from the Privoxy documentation (http://config.privoxy.org/ user-manual/appendix.html#BOOKMARKLETS). It's the script that allows one to toggle Privoxy between the enabled and disabled states among other things. The issue is this: it opens a new window. Can someone who is a wizard at javascript kindly convert it instead to open in a tab in my current browser window when I click on the "link"? Either the current tab or a new background tab will do. (Right-clicking on it doesn't give an option to open in a new tab unlike regular links.) Just to be clear, I don't know javascript and don't know if I'm asking for something that is not possible in Firefox. Thank you for your time! |
