Category: filters Group: 3.0.10 Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: macias (me-macias) Assigned to: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Summary: problem with even simple filter to get working Initial Comment: opensuse 11.1, Konqueror/KDE3.5.10, www.google.pl, system firewall, no another proxy First of all, I don't know if it is a bug, because I am starting using privoxy. So I tried to come up with simply filter to see how it works, the filter is: FILTER: test test s/polski/niemiecki/g and I applied it to www.google.pl. I restarted privoxy, I checked if filter is visible, yes it is: Matches for http://www.google.pl/: In file: default.action View (no matches in this file) In file: user.action View {+filter {test} } www.google.pl but when I enter the www.google.pl site phrase "polski" is not replaced. What can I do wrong here? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: macias (me-macias) Date: 2009-04-29 18:00 Message: I set debug to 64 but nothing happened, so I enabled all levels of debug and still nothing happens. The logdir is /var/log/privoxy and the logfile is logfile ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Date: 2009-04-29 17:45 Message: Try checking the log file after enabling logging and "debug 64" in the configuration file. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: macias (me-macias) Date: 2009-04-29 16:18 Message: It is enabled in the show-status, but just for being sure I added the flag +prevent-compression as well. I re-run privoxy, I checked if the new rule applies, still no replace. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Date: 2009-04-29 15:52 Message: Your Privoxy version could have been compiled without zlib support. If http://config.privoxy.org/show-status doesn't list FEATURE_ZLIB as enabled, you'll have to either recompile Privoxy with zlib support, or use the prevent-compression action: http://www.privoxy.org/user-manual/actions-file.html#PREVENT-COMPRESSION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=2783703&group_id=11118 |
