Category: windows-specific Group: version 3.0 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Waiting for a service release for Windows Initial Comment: “A year has passed since I wrote my note” — The Police A year ago, David Schmidt was so kind as to remove an arbitrary length restriction from the sources of Privoxy. This can be read about in the following tracker page: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php? func=detail&atid=111118&aid=911950&group_id=11118 I was too lazy or incompetent to compile Privoxy myself. I am still using Privoxy Version 3.0.3 for Windows and understand that there is no newer binary available yet. I still would appreciate it if someone would some day create a new Windows release incorporating the change mentioned, because my filter project actually has the “waiting” status for one year now. (I need to add more rules, but Privoxy won't let me.) Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Date: 2006-08-29 14:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=875547 David did it again. "Windows" service support has been integrated in cvs. We are currently working to get 3.0.4 out, so you shouldn't have to wait another year for the binary. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=111118&aid=1208658&group_id=11118 |
