Category: None Group: None Status: Pending Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: XPensive (xpensive) Assigned to: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Summary: Starting Privoxy minimized Initial Comment: I run Privoxy 3.0.3 for Win32 OS is XP Pro SP2 The "hide-console" line in config.txt doesn't affect the gui window (as expected). Is there a way to start Privoxy silently (just the status icon in the system tray)? Very good proxy, keep it up! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2007-04-16 08:21 Message: Logged In: NO Thank you Fabian! It just causes Privoxy to run FreeConsole() which AFAIK detaches the process from the console (like a daemon on Unix systems). There are several ways to start Privoxy silently on Windows, for example you can start it as service or through a link with the properties set to "start minimized". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=1698291&group_id=11118 |
