Hallo folks, I should have a couple of questions. First off, I tried the ifp_guy and found it wonderful. Just a big problem: file order. I upload a couple of directories and it run smooth to the end, but when I got to listen to the music all files were unordered. Just likewise mc with ifp. I guess there is not a workaround, uhu? It is a shame, for it was very much confortable. I am currently using ifp via command line and this way I get files ordered the right way. Second question, this is a bit off topic please forgive me: did any of you encountered the "ogg format not supported" problem? Today, I ripped some ogg with -q 8 and most of them, when I got to the player, where not readable. Some of them were instead. I googed a bit and found out our beloved ifps read vorbis only through a specific range of bitrate. Ogg is always VBR so some file get higher than the limit and cannot be read. Another shame of this player, now I am encoding with -q 7 parameter just to find out which switch quality I could reach. Any hint? workaround? Thank you and have a nice week end. |
