Hi All, I tried using my IFP-880 with version 0.2.4.3 and ifp.c (1.33)/ifp_routines.c (1.42) from CVS, but unfortunately it still doesn't work for me. I can ls/mkdir/rmdir but uploading files just doesn't work (except for the first). It copies some data but then afterwards when I try to play the files I get: NOT SUPPORTED OGG FORMAT i.e. they are corrupted. Only the first file uploads OK, and the files after that seem to load OK but they are not OK :) It doesn't matter if I upload a directory or one file at a time. I had to go to the 0.2.5 version by Joe Roback ( http://roback.cc/ ) and that works for me although I had to use the tricks I detailed here: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=18786&max_rows=25&style=flat&viewmonth=200405&viewday=26 To recap, every other file has problems uploading, so I have to do the following ugly hack to upload a dummy file every other time: for i in *.ogg do echo $i sleep 3 ifp upload $i /rock/$i sleep 10 ifp rm /rock/dummy.ogg sleep 5 ifp upload dummy.ogg /rock/dummy.ogg sleep 10 ifp rm /rock/dummy.ogg sleep 2 ifp ls /rock/dummy.ogg sleep 2 ifp rm /rock/dummy.ogg done Note that when I upload the good files the transfer is quick. The dummy file stutters, and I get the following in my log file: Jul 16 23:57:31 hostname kernel: usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 11 ep 0x3 len 4096 ret -110 Jul 16 23:57:32 hostname kernel: usb_control/bulk_msg: timeouta Jul 16 23:57:32 hostname kernel: usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 11 ep 0x3 len 4096 ret -110 Jul 16 23:57:33 hostname kernel: usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout Jul 16 23:57:33 hostname kernel: usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 11 ep 0x3 len 4096 ret -110 Jul 16 23:57:34 hostname kernel: usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout . . . The above trick does not work with 0.2.4.3. Nonetheless I can eventually upload all my files in one go. Oh, BTW, uploading files with a ":" in the name e.g. 01:file.ogg doesn't seem to work either (at all, no matter what). PS. To be on the safe side, I use "oggenc -q 4". I'm also using: http://www.geocities.jp/aoyoume/aotuv/ This does not seem to cause any problems. Cheers! -- ma...@re...
