Hi list, I have bought a iFP-390T today (EU version), following the good news that the latest iRiver firmware now supports ogg. However, my trials to do firmware upgrades with the ifp tool on Linux (Fedora Core 1) were not successful... (The file gets uploaded, but after that... nothing happens.) Apart from not being able to update the firmware I have met some other weirdness: . Directory uploads do not work (only one file gets uploaded). . Consecutive uploads of individual mp3 files stops working after 3 to 4 uploads. Pulling out the usb cable and putting it back in might work for another one, but this method stops working too. I am motivated to track bugs, but I'm not sure about the strategy. My guess is: . Get the firmware upgrade to work. . After that, debug the other stuff, like upload weirdness. My music collection is completely on ogg. So for trying the uploads I have been re-encoding some of my oggs to mp3 before uploading. Any hints are welcome!!
