I see nothing at all on the printer. There is no response in either
blinking lights, noises or any other sensations (I haven't checked taste...)

Thats exactly the model and driver I selected. I've tried selecting it
through both the cups web interface and the KDE print setup wizard.

p.s. I appologise for the strangeness, I've had a couple of pints this
