I am running Gwyddion 2.13 in win32. I'm afraid I cannot reproduce this on X11 (Linux), because the window does not respond to the delete event until it is rendered. With a huge data, I can even get an `Application is not responding...' message from the window manager when I try this. However, I think I've found the cause: the full-size rendering is not unqueued when the 3D view is destroyed so it may try to render into a no longer existing window. I'll try to fix it.
