The cab IR's wasn't made by Harvey, I've clipped and EQ'd them from some free IR's I've found in the net. Harvey have provided the sound example we have on the project page. Harvey, when you open the guitarix convolver setup widget file browser, you will see 2 new folders in the top left frame. They are "amps" and "bands". This folders contain the IR files from "BestPlugins". "BestPlugins" is just the name David have chosen for his work, like we have chose "guitarix". :-) > > > On Tue, Aug 13, 2013 at 2:46 PM, Andreas Degert > <and...@go... > <mailto:and...@go...>> wrote: > > > > > 2013/8/13 SxDx <se...@fr... <mailto:se...@fr...>> > > On 08/12/2013 11:47 PM, Andreas Degert wrote: > > 2013/8/11 SxDx<se...@fr... <mailto:se...@fr...>> > > Hi, > > why is gxpreamp.lv2 disabled in src/LV2/wscript ? > Is it bugged? So I didn't know if Steve plan to finish the former gxpreamp. > For tubescreamer, it's the simulation of the pedal with > > same name? > > > yes (if you need more specific info, please ask :) > > cheers > Andreas > > > Hi Andreas, > > to be honest, I am trying to use some IR to reproduce > sounds of some well know bands (see eg. > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I7YKOFmc6M). Just the bass-boost and the reverb isn't integrated. But, they are both separate modules in guitarix main anyway, even if the UI suggest they are part of the amp. In the lv2 ports you could find the bass-boost in the gxbooster.lv2 plug. the reverb I haven't ported (still I never use it, and my impression is that "nobody" use it). :-) The difference is that I've integrated the tonestack and cabinet in the LV2 amps (Ui), but you can select "Off" now for this, so you get the same then the plain guitarix amp module. > Okay, if you have no time guys, that's fine.
