Is there a config-option I have missed? Edit the header file magick/magick_config.h to tailor the settings. Most important is the setting for "UseInstalledMagick". When this one is defined then either the Windows registery or hard-coded paths are consulted (i.e. requires a formal installation). Otherwise the .mgk files are searched for in the same directory as the executable.
