Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Peter Barth (konkubinaten) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Wrong usbid for EOS 350D Initial Comment: I got a new Canon EOS 350D and tried to read it out, using gphoto2. But the camera was not recognized automatically and even with the correct "--camera" string it did not work. After some investigations I found out, that libgphoto2 expects the EOS 350D to have a usbid 0x4a9:0x30ee but my camera has 0x4a9:0x30ef (yes, it is an EOS 350D :)). So as a workaround gphoto --usbid 0x4a9:0x30ee=0x4a9:0x30ef ... works. But I think the new usbid should be added too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=108874&aid=1394075&group_id=8874 |
