If you want to give it a try, try CVS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alex (alllllex) Date: 2002-11-12 14:25 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=635140 I know there's a skeleton camlib. I've got snoopy pro dumps (as xml). Presumably even if I do manage to communicate with the camera and transfer the images I'll find they're in some proprietary format with no header information. Will email again... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Hubert Figuiere (hfiguiere) Date: 2002-11-12 14:08 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=27487 I must say that I got no answer either. You may try to give them a call. Or possibly mail <su...@sm...>. If you feel like it, you can try to reverse engineer. This is mostly what we have done in the past. But is is still better to get help from the manufacturer. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alex (alllllex) Date: 2002-11-12 13:27 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=635140 I found the thread from Lane Gearle Brook <la...@sm...> (an engineer at SMaL) and emailed in October regarding obtaining the gphoto camlib code he'd played around with or the specs, but no response. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Hubert Figuiere (hfiguiere) Date: 2002-11-12 13:12 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=27487 Have you emailed smalcamera about obtaining the specs of the protocol ? I remember that one of the engineers wanted, more than a year back, write a driver for gphoto.... Nothing since. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=358874&aid=637076&group_id=8874 |
