The compiler issues a warning about a possible problem. as an example: v = a + b * c; . We all know the precedence of the operators so we all know that is v = a + (b*c). (with + and * the compiler stays quiet, but with || and && it warns, IIRC). Anyway,. ading the braces will silence the warning but not change how the code is compiled. On the other hand, not testing means that you might accidentally change something that does cause a bug....
