The mirror-lock-up is somewhere in the custom functions. Hopefully Canon won't take too long to approve my application and I'll see if I can figure out how to query the settings on the custom functions. I'm assuming I'm going to have to write some bit of code on Windows and then run SniffUSB to see what it's doing.
