Unfortunately I'm not aware of any other compact cameras that support streaming (though I haven't actively looked!). Canon DSLRs have good streaming viewfinder support in gphoto if you have deep pockets! There are probably dozens of other solutions but it depends on the exact nature of your application. Someone intending to create a fixed, mains powered high resolution security camera would have very different needs to someone wanting a compact portable remotely-triggered wildlife camera.
