I see horizontal artifacts when using gnuplot to plot a sawtooth curve from binary data (unsigned short). I've attached the binary file and I used these command parameters - plot "c:\\temp\\Test_Fri09_15_11_40_A.bin" binary array=(-1) format="%ushort" with lines

Is it a bug? Is there a work-around?

    Gnuplot 4.4 patch level 4

  • Hmm... doesn't look like that data file can actually be the one corresponding to that plot you show. It's too short by about a factor of 20, and covers a much smaller range of values than your plot. Nor does it exhibit any of the artifacts.

  • Oh, and even the file name is wrong...

Apologies. Uploaded correct file. Artifacts don't always appear. Sometimes they show up after clicking replot.
